This diabetes thing is not so bad. I still get two shots a day but there are less trips to the vet now that they got the hang of it. And there are some perks like sleeping in any bed with any body that I choose (I used to sleep outside), good canned food. I seem to still be losing weight, and I am weaker than I used to be. I’m not used to this, it definitely feels like the last stretch for this life… A few months have passed since I was diagnosed and, while its a little more stable, it’s obviously here to stay. I accept it and that makes it much easier.

Avoid dogs whenever you can. Remember…Cats are poetry in motion. Dogs are gibberish in neutral.
